General sale tickets for Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres World Tour” second leg went on sale on 11th October 2024 and were sold out within minutes for all 6 shows. Many fans were disappointed in Ticketmaster’s queue system and expressed it on social media platforms, especially on the band’s subreddit.

Coldplay has a thing called “Infinity Tickets.” It’s a special initiative aimed at making Coldplay concerts more accessible to fans who may not have been able to afford general sale tickets. These tickets are priced much lower than standard ones, just $20, and are released in limited quantities for each show.

The catch is that they are sold only in pairs, and the seat locations are completely random. You won’t know where you’re sitting until the day of the concert, and it could be anywhere in the venue, from the very front to the far back.

You can still buy Coldplay’s US tour tickets through resale platforms. Just remember that these tickets will usually cost more than the original price.

Coldplay’s Music of The Spheres World Tour Show Rundown

Coldplay’s world tour is an experience that unfolds in four acts, representing a journey into the unknown and back, with each act capturing a different stage of growth and discovery. The concert opens with a nod to Coldplay’s commitment to sustainability. Before the band takes the stage, two guest speakers—usually locals from the country they’re performing in—greet the audience and introduce a short video that showcases their efforts to keep the tour eco-friendly. This clip, set to “Light Through the Veins” by Jon Hopkins, runs for about three minutes.

Once the video wraps up, the concert begins with a grand entrance as “Flying”, the score from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, plays in the background. The band emerges, greeted by cheering fans, kicking off Act I – Planets. This act is all about the excitement of exploration—knowing there’s more out there and setting off to find it. The wristbands in the crowd light up red, and Coldplay bursts into “Higher Power”, with Chris Martin singing from the B-stage while the rest of the band plays from the main stage.

As the concert flows, Chris joins the main stage for the energetic “Adventure of a Lifetime”, where giant colourful balls bounce through the crowd. Next comes “Paradise”, with an electrifying call-and-response from the audience. After a brief snippet of “Oceans”, the band dives into “The Scientist”, with Chris often taking a moment to speak to the audience in the local language—making each performance feel personal.

Then, the mood shifts into Act II – Moons, a reflection of life’s struggles. Coldplay launches into the epic “Viva la Vida”, followed by songs like “Hymn for the Weekend” or “Something Just Like This”. This part of the show can vary, sometimes featuring guest appearances or different songs like “Let Somebody Go”, “Politik”, or “بنی آدم” (“Bani Adam”).

Act III – Stars represents self-love and acceptance, encouraging the audience to embrace people from all walks of life. The act opens with a beautiful visual as giant red hearts appear across the venue, thanks to the wristbands. The band performs “Human Heart”, with Angel Moon (a puppet) joining Chris on stage. The energy quickly shifts with the flashing white lights of “People of the Pride”, followed by “Clocks”, creating a stunning visual display.

Next up is a fun and energetic segment called The Lightclub, where the band puts on custom alien helmets while performing “Infinity Sign”. Depending on the night, this could transition into “Something Just Like This” or the Seeb Remix of “Hymn for the Weekend”—both performed in American Sign Language for an extra touch of inclusivity.

Act IV – Home brings the concert to a heartfelt close. Coldplay returns to the main stage for fan favourites “My Universe”, “A Sky Full of Stars”, and more, including a moment where Chris asks fans to put away their phones to truly feel the moment. As the concert nears its end, “Sunrise”, featuring Louis Armstrong’s words from “What a Wonderful World”, begins the final act. The band wraps up by performing tracks from Parachutes or with a local guest, thanking their crew and sending love into the world.

Finally, the grand finale sees fireworks lighting up the sky, and the words “Believe in Love” appear on the central screen as Coldplay bids farewell, leaving fans with one last burst of confetti and memories to cherish.
